This year’s Salute will also mark a historic first: Tom Bennett and Clara Gordon Young will be honored with the inaugural Springfield Arts Council “Heart of the Arts” Awards, recognizing extraordinary vision, leadership, and service that have shaped the organization since its earliest days. “Salute to the Arts is where gratitude meets momentum,” said Krissy Hartman, Executive Director of the Springfield Arts Council. “As we celebrate 60 years of performances, festivals, and arts education, we’re thrilled to honor Tom Bennett and Clara Gordon Young—two champions whose generosity and creativity helped build the foundation we stand on today.” Event Highlights •
